is an article I wrote to a foreclosing bank a number of years ago
when no one knew the word foreclosure, green or sustainability.
Manufactured housing has always been a step-child to stick built
homes and I opposed that thinking then and still do today. In
today's green climate, there is much to be said for manufactured
homes and it's conformity to sustainability for the future.

Be careful of GREENWASH!
As the demand for green products has accelerated,
manufacturers have increasingly used green as a hook to market
products, with little or no verification of the data being
reported. Marketers have learned that green is gold and have
bent over backwards to tout the greenness of their products and
that has contributed to confusion about which environmental
claims are actually true.
